Submitting To Rope and Wire:
Please read the guidelines listed below before submitting.
Choose a category, and then submit it.
We review all submissions before posting to the website.
Guidelines:
By submitting a story or article to ROPE AND WIRE you agree:
- To grant ROPE AND WIRE a non-exclusive license to publish and archive your work on our website for an unlimited period of time. Your work will not be published by us anywhere other than the ROPE AND WIRE website.
- Submissions shall not contain obscene, indecent or foul language in it’s content. We consider ROPE AND WIRE to be a high quality, family oriented website. Please keep this in mind.
- Submissions shall not contain links, advertisements or promotions.
- The author of the submission retains the copyright of the submission. By submitting a work to ROPE AND WIRE you are guaranteeing you are the original author and owner of the copyright material submitted.
- ROPE AND WIRE reserves the right not to publish submissions it deems unsuitable for this website. We do not publish all submissions we receive.
- You should send your submission as an unformatted plain text email. If you wish to copy and paste your work into the submit box you will need to save your work as RFT "Rich Text Format." Go to your File Menu, click on File/Save as, Select "Rich Text Format" (RTF) as your file type. Your files will be readable on nearly all word processors. Make the subject line your title. Limit your submissions to one per form and don’t forget to include your name.
- If you are a new author please let us know. We would love the opportunity to publish your work if your writing skills meet our criteria. New author submissions will be placed in the “Bullpen” area of our website where reader feedback is encouraged.
- ROPE AND WIRE does not give feedback on submissions.
- Please limit submissions to around 3000 words.
