Alfred Wallon
Born in 1957 and raised in a small village in the middle of Germany.
Since childhood and teenage years he was always addicted to westerns of
any kind, books, TV or movies. He wrote his first western novel in 1980 and
has been writing and publishing regularly ever since, mostly all kind of genres.
Historical westerns, crime stories, SF + Fantasy, Horror + gothic romance and
love stories. But his favorite genre has always been the historical western.
In summer 2006 he joined the Western Writers of America as an active member.
That was also the time when his good friend and British western writer David
Whitehead offered help in reading his first English story "Cadburn´s Return"
and he did the final polishing, so that everything was ok in style and language.
Alfred and David have collaborated on a soon to be published novel called
“All Guns Blazing”. The two are currently working on a second novel about the
Alaskan gold rush.

James J. Griffin
The author of the Texas Ranger Jim Blawcyzk series of western novels. The Blawcyzk stories are traditional Westerns. A lifelong horseman, Western enthusiast, and amateur historian of the Texas Rangers. Griffin has travelled extensively throughout the Western United States. He has contributed an extensive collection of Texas Ranger artifacts to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco Texas. A member of the Connecticut Volunteer Horse Patrol, Griffin currently makes his home in New England.

Tom Sheehan
Tom Sheehan’s Epic Cures, short stories from Press 53, won a 2006 IPPY Award. A Collection of Friends, from Pocol Press, was nominated for Albrend Memoir Award. This Rare Earth & Other Flights, poems, was issued by Lit Pot Press in 2003. He has nine Pushcart and two Million Writer nominations, a Silver Rose Award from American Renaissance for the Twenty-first Century (ART) and the Georges Simenon Award for Excellence in Fiction. His novels include Vigilantes East, Death for the Phantom Receiver and An Accountable Death. Coming from Press 53 this year is Brief Cases, Short Spans, a short story collection, and ready for the publisher is From the Quickening, more short stories. With former teacher John Burns, he has co-edited two books on his hometown of Saugus, sold 3500 to date of 4500 printed.. He retired in 1990. He meets again soon for a lunch/gab session with pals, the ROMEOs, Retired Old Men Eating Out (92, 80, & 79, ). He can hardly wait. Ben H. Swadley
Ben H. Swadley is a museum director and writer living in Scott, Arkansas. His interest in the West springs from his Texas childhood, where his family visited numerous historic sites and landmarks over many years. Ben credits the Silver Spur award winning western writer, Benjamin Capps, and his father, a former English professor at the University of Texas at Arlington with his sparking inspiration to write.

Lee Pierce
Born and raised in north central Texas, Lee has written and performed songs and cowboy poetry for many years. Rye James was born and resides in Philadelphia, Pa. He is the author of the western novel, The Assassin, along with the Amazon best-selling short story Day Of The Assassin. Mike Gombas Sr.
Mike Gombas was born in Budapest, Hungary and was naturalized in 1972. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from St. Leo University and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Troy State University. He has published two books via iuniverse.com
