In an effort to raise funds to keep Rope and Wire online and finance future endeavors that raise awareness of the western genre. Rope and Wire has decided to sell ad space. Not in the traditional way you might think of website ads, but in a unique way (not new, unique) that will grab the attention of anyone who visits the main page of Rope and wire.
Here is how it will work...
Rope and wire offers advertisers a choice of three different size Ad Blocks, 25 x 25 pixels, 50 x 75 pixels and
100 x 150 pixels.
Advertisers can purchase any number of these blocks, where Rope and Wire will place their linked ad or favicon for one full year.
When Rope and Wire patrons click on your ad block, they will be taken to your website.
Blocks will be sold at $20.00 each for the smaller blocks, $75 for the mid-size and $120 each for the larger blocks.
You can purchase as many as you like.

Rope and wire has a Google page ranking of 4. (this is good)
Google Analytics shows over 5000 visits to Rope and wire per month.
Under the heading of “Western Short Stories”, Rope and Wire currently holds the #1 position on the top five search engines, Google, Bing Yahoo, Ask and AOL. (I stopped looking after five).
If your website is western related, you have a targeted audience.
One $20 linked Ad Block on the home page of Rope and Wire for 1 year comes to about $1.66 per month. That's less than a cup of coffee!
One $75 linked Ad Block on the home page of Rope and Wire for 1 year comes to $6.25 per month.
One $120 linked Ad Block on the home page of Rope and Wire for 1 year comes to $10 per month.

Terms and Conditions
The ad should be to a western related website such as Books, Art, Music, Blogs, Clothing, Gear etc. You get the picture.
The minimum purchase is one block, and the maximum purchase is whatever blocks are left.
When you 'buy' a Rope and Wire Ad Block you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage in the respective block(s) you have paid for.
You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image & link you want on the homepage, which will be there for at least 1 year. You will have the option to renew your blocks.
The only exception is if you have a strong reason why you need a change your image/link, such as your site no longer exists, major structural change to your site, etc.
If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.
No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted, and I decide what is appropriate for Rope and Wire. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your blocks.
If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed and you will not get a refund of any kind.
If for whatever future reason you want your image and link removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available again.
Images must be the exact size you have paid for. (Each block is either 25 x 25, 50 x 75 or 100 x 150 pixels).
Images must be in JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.
Images must NOT be animated.
Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
Funds must be fully received and cleared before your blocks go live on the homepage.
Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (eg. in my PayPal account), I will work to get your blocks online within 48hrs.
Submit your ad request to Rope and Wire by clicking on the “Contact Us” button on the navigation bar at the top of the page under the Rope and Wire header.
If accepted, I'll let you know. At that time your payment can be made.
