BEV PETTIT
For decades Bev was successful in business working for international companies in the US, SE Asia and Europe. The opportunities to photograph were vast as she travelled to such far off places as China, Vietnam, Argentina and Brazil.
However, the glitter of international life wore off when an empty spot in her heart continued to grow. Her love of horses and rural life from an early age growing up in a small farming community in Minnesota began to haunt her. After returning to the US she returned to her roots of small town life and now lives on a ranch surrounded by the beauty of mountains, boulders and fir trees with her family and their horses.
Today Bev specializes in photographing horses, both wild and domestic, and the western lifestyle that surrounds her in northern Arizona.
Her work has received numerous awards and has been published extensively both in the US and internationally.
