Postcards

In the early 19th century, explorers such as Louis and Clark, John C. Fremont and Joseph Reddford Walker, headed West. They documented great discoveries and told their stories to citizens back East.

Those who had a sense of adventure headed west to see this “land of enchantment” for themselves. The geographic sites are still there for all to enjoy as well as many of the landmarks left by those who came after.

Explore these pages and see for yourself what many of us already know. The West, beautiful, enchanting and even to this day, worth discovering.
